This is my breakfast-to-go smoothie and I absolutely love it. While most people are reluctant when it comes to spinach smoothies, I can guarantee that you won’t feel the spinach in this one. The secret is to use ripe bananas – the riper the bananas, the sweeter the smoothie. The spinach and banana smoothie is the perfect way of getting your daily vitamins and it really sets you up for the day. Plus, it only takes 5 minutes to make.
Prep time: 5 min
- 1 handful of spinach
- 600 ml almond milk
- 2 large ripe bananas
- 1/3 cup frozen berries
- Add the spinach, bananas and frozen berries to the smoothie maker
- Add the almond milk
- Give it a good mix for about 30 seconds
- Before transferring the smoothie and washing up the smoothie maker, taste your smoothie to make sure you like the consistency. Some like it thicker, others like it runnier. Add more almond milk if you like it runnier or half a banana if you like it thicker.
